Nature Stroll at Skyline Farm

Nature Stroll at Skyline Farm In-Person

Let’s slow down and enjoy the beauty of our local trails. All walks are slow-paced and kid-friendly - all the better for noticing nature’s treasures. Boots and bug spray recommended! Registration also recommended so we can notify you should we cancel due to inclement weather.

The trail network at Skyline Farm traces it roots to the time when numerous bridle paths meandered through the area's fields and woods. Many of these were used by the horseback riders learning to ride at Skyline Farm while Abby and Carl Semmes ran a riding school at the farm in the 1950's and 1960's. The current trail network was designed by John Morton of Thetford, VT. John is a former Olympic Nordic Skier and has designed multi-use trails all over the world.
