Tour the Facility: EcoMaine! In-Person

We're organizing a tour of the EcoMaine's recycling facility. We'll meet at the facility at 64 Blueberry Rd in Portland and gather as a group for the tour. Open to adults and teens, 12+ (with an adult). All participants must provide their own transportation to the facility.

EcoMaine is committed to providing a comprehensive and safe tour. All participants must meet the following requirements:

Comfortable with heights, walking half a mile, and climbing 8.5 flights of steep stairs.
Able to tolerate loud noises, strong odors, dust, and extreme temperatures.
Able to walk on grated, see-through floors (canes and walkers are not permitted).

Tours will be cancelled if the temperature exceeds 90°F or during inclement weather (high winds, heavy rain, etc.).

If our equipment or facilities are unable to safely accommodate tour groups, tours will be cancelled.

Please register for this tour by June 27, so that we can send you an EcoMaine waiver form and specifications regarding safe attire and other parameters. The waiver form will need to be completed and returned by July 2.
