Search Like a Genealogy Librarian with BJ Jamieson

Join B.J. Jamieson, genealogy reference specialist, to learn how to search and where to search for your basic genealogy questions. Learn about fielded vs. full-text search, Boolean searches, and specialized catalogs. Discover how to uncover death notices, obituaries, relatives, land, marriages and other common genealogical requests.

This program is being offered in collaboration with Curtis Memorial Library and Scarborough Public Library, as part of MECollab, a shared library partnership initiative. This simply means that you may see viewers from different libraries who are also participating in this virtual learning event.

Registration (via Curtis Memorial Library) is required, so that we can send you a Zoom link.
